The Heroes of the Harbor Gala is Waterfront Alliance’s biggest event of the year. Each year, JK Creative is tasked to create a new look and feel. The 2024 gala was particularly special, with honorees that were integral to the Waterfront Alliance team as well as a new modern location. The idea behind this years concept was to meld together a beautiful evening gala with the industrial modern feel of City Winery in New York City. I created a unique silhouette of the New York / New Jersey Harbor and skyline with the addition of some container ships to tie in the maritime industry that this event caters to. Then paired this with a jewel toned sunset sky gradient and exaggerated stars.
